Today we visited for the Vegan Menu event. It was the best vegan dinner we have had EVER!!! Other vegan restaurants fail to deliver flavor, but chef Andy gave us masterfully crafted dishes. My extremely picky vegan daughter loved the food aand truly enjoyed her meal. I hope they keep the dishes on the menu!

So far the best Indian food I have had in Boston!! My family loved it a lot. Amazing food options, nice ambience and great service. The Momos were perfect! Loved the butter chicken and for me Naan bread was divine.

I haven’t had an opportunity to dine in at Turmeric House, we’ve ordered takeout several times and have always been impressed. There’s always parking, and the hosts at the front desk are consistently friendly and welcoming. Our order is always ready on time, and they are very accommodating of my son’s peanut and tree nut allergies, which I deeply appreciate. As for the food, my entire family loves it, especially since they offer different spice levels to suit our varying tolerances. Two of our favorite dishes are Chicken 65 and Chicken Tikka Masala. Additionally, they serve the best mint chutney and naan we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Butter chicken amazing, lamb amazing, bread basket to die for.
Best date spot if you love flavor. I could tell each plate is full of so many good ingredients and spices by the way I got full halfway through my plate!! Def eat in if you have only ordered out, it was such a good date night dinner ♥️

Dining at Turmeric House was an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a balance of modern touches and traditional charm that immediately set the tone for a memorable meal.
Service was attentive yet unobtrusive—the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to offer recommendations without being overbearing. My server ensured everything flowed smoothly, from seating to the final check, which made the evening feel effortless.
The food itself was outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, with spices that were vibrant but well-balanced. The menu offered a wide range of options, and everything I tried—from appetizers to mains—was fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared. Portions were generous without sacrificing quality.
What stood out most was the consistency: every element of the experience, from the ambiance to the service to the cuisine, reflected care and pride. Turmeric House is clearly committed to delivering both authenticity and hospitality.
Overall, this restaurant exceeded expectations and is a place I would gladly return to and recommend to others seeking excellent Indian cuisine.

Updated review 1/9/2026
We returned today 1/9/2026 and the food was delicious (see photo) so I'm changing my rating back to 5 stars! I'm putting the last experience as a an anomaly, so we'll be as regular customers.
=======
We were regulars at this establishment but our recent experience left us wondering if we need to look for another Indian restaurant.
We got takeout on 11/26 which we had the next day. I don't recall if it was the chana marsala or the veg curry, but one of those dishes was very oily. Both my wife and I felt bloated and decided to toss out the whole order of Bombay Tandoori Wings, Goat Vindaloo, Mixed Vegetables Curry, Double Tadka Dal, Matar Paneer and Chana Marsala. $112.86 worth of food went in the trash rather than risk any stomach illness.
